Objects, Properties and Methods in VBScript


An object in VBScript is a part of the object hierarchy. For instance, the document object. The document object contains the details of the document or page currently loaded into the browser window.

An example property of the document object is the title property as shown below.

document.title = "This is the window title"

An example method of the document object is the write method as shown below. A method is a function which is executed on an object and/or its properties.

document.write "This string is written to the browser window"
